Solar Power Systems

Off Grid - Self Contained

EverGEN™ solar engines from Carmanah are self-contained power supplies providing 12-volt DC power wherever you need it.

Unlike other solar-power systems, EverGEN solar engines are completely self-contained, with all components (including solar modules, rechargeable batteries, sensors and electronics) integrated within a sleek, compact and durable pole-mounted design.

Suitable for powering a range of third-party components, such as LED lighting, cameras, sensors, communications equipment, and other low-voltage devices.

Off Grid - Large Format
Should your off-grid power requirements exceed that of the largest EverGEN™ solar engine (80 watts), Carmanah offers turnkey, modular solar power systems with up to 1,600 watts of power!
Ideal for powering remote buildings and infrastructure, illuminated signs and notification systems, monitoring and communications equipement, etc.

  Federal CCA (Class 43.2)
50% per year accelerated write-off for PV equipment

    Net Metering (all provinces)
Allows easy access for connection of PV to Grid

RESOP (Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program)
Payment of $0.42 CAD per kWh (20 year contract) for Grid-Tied PV
Funded by Ontario Power Authority (OPA)
Grid Tie       Administered by Local Distribution Company (LDC)
Where grid access is available or already connected, consider hooking up a solar power system to supplement your electricity requirements. Reduce monthly energy bills and greenhouse gas emissions.
Where net metering is available, surplus power can even be fed back to the utility as a credit.
